Most couples book Midsummer Productions 9 to 14 months ahead, and 4 to 5 months is usually the minimum, depending on the package. Peak dates, March through May, often book a year out. We cap our calendar so every wedding's film and photos get full attention.
Do you travel?
Midsummer Productions travels for weddings anywhere. There are no travel fees across most of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, including Pensacola, Panama City Beach and Tallahassee. Farther away, travel is quoted at the trip's actual cost, and small fees are often waived.
Can we customize a package?
Yes. Every Midsummer Productions film and photo package is a starting point. Tell us what matters most and we'll adjust coverage and add-ons, then send a custom quote built around your wedding.
What about photography?
Midsummer Productions has its own photo team, so film and photos share one cohesive look. Our photographers and cinematographers stay on headsets all day and use our smoke machines and cinema lighting rather than working around them. You're still welcome to bring your own photographer.
How does payment work?
Midsummer Productions holds your date with a 50% retainer, and it doesn't have to be paid all at once: we can split it into installments that fit your schedule. The retainer is non-refundable, but everything else stays flexible.
What if it rains?
Midsummer Productions keeps shooting in the rain. The crew carries weatherproof rigs and indoor backup lighting for both film and photos. The drone is grounded when the weather calls for it, but everything else keeps rolling.
What's the difference between Documentary, Cinematic, and Hybrid?
Midsummer Productions shoots in three styles. Documentary is candid, fast and energetic, like reality TV. Cinematic is slower and story-driven, with film-like grain and every moment composed as a scene. Hybrid blends a documentary backbone with cinematic moments, and most couples choose it.
When will I get my video?
Most Midsummer Productions wedding films are delivered 3 to 4 months after the wedding, and your contract guarantees delivery within 6 months. Everything is delivered online, ready to download and share.
Can my family who can't attend watch the ceremony live?
Yes. Midsummer Productions offers a Live Stream Ceremony add-on for $1,200 that broadcasts your ceremony to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram or any other platform. We bring our own Starlink internet, so the stream works at any venue.
