Samantha remembers talking and talking on her first date with Jacob, eating her dinner without worrying about trying to impress him. It felt like they’d known each other for years. On the wedding morning, she was settling into that same comfort while he was starting to feel the nerves. Their letters bring it back to what they’d found in each other: a shared faith and someone they could feel completely at home with.

I thought the first dances were great. There is the two of them together, and then the dances with their parents, all in this part of the reception. I wanted those moments to stay easy to find in the finished film. They were some of my highlights when I looked back over the wedding.

The edit.
This was a really easy wedding film for me to edit. I liked the morning conversations, the bridesmaids’ first look and the family moments, and the film came together naturally. I did not have to force it into place. I was happy with how well the whole wedding carried through to the finished video.
