Behind the Lens
The drive to Nashville was easy except for one stop. Our rental car had a temporary tag from another state, and we got pulled over for it. It was the most entertaining part of the trip up.
Chuck wrote first-date options on index cards and tied them with a bow. Jinnifer picked one without looking. They married among the indoor gardens at Gaylord Opryland, a place they already loved from a trip together.

Jinnifer was ready to be done with dating apps.
She’d tried, it hadn’t worked out, and she didn’t want to do it again. Then a friend told her she had met someone that way, and Jinnifer decided to give it one more chance. That last try is how she met Chuck.
Chuck was new to the South, so he did his research before their first date.
He found places around Dothan and Enterprise, wrote the options on index cards, and tied them together with a bow. Jinnifer picked one without looking. It was a lot of effort for a first date, and she still laughs about how determined he was to keep seeing her.
The thing Jinnifer remembers most is how Chuck showed up for her family.
Watching the way he cared for them helped her trust what they were building together. His promise to stay even found its way into the wedding music: their first dance was Stuck On You. By then, they’d chosen a place they already loved, Gaylord Opryland, for the wedding.
