The program
Abby’s oldest friends lived with her in Birmingham and Auburn, so they have plenty of stories.
She was the one willing to try anything and bring them along, including an unfortunate attempt at frying cheese curds. They call her the best kind of crazy. Listening to them talk, you get a pretty good idea of why they’ve stayed so close.
Zac is at family dinner every Sunday, and his friends know they can count on him when they need a hand.
They joke that he would come rescue you from a broken-down boat even though he doesn’t own one. That is how they describe him: the person who shows up. Abby talks about that same steady care in her vows.
Abby says she felt at home with Zac from the first day they met.
In her vows, she described his love as steady, patient, and joyful. She remembered feeling like she was exactly where she was meant to be. By their November wedding at Pineneedle, she could tell him all of that in front of the people who knew them best.
